Jefferson State Hemp Expo 2011

Jefferson State Hemp Expo will be held on August 26-27, 2011 in Takilma, Oregon. The two day music festival and educational hemp exposition will feature speakers and hemp industry advocates, over 30 regional and national musical acts on three stages, camping, vendors, artists and more. It is looking to book Sonicbids artists of all genres to perform live at the festival. Prominent past performers include Pato Banton, Indubious, State of Jefferson, T-Club, Outpost, Takilma, Oneironauts, Pure Will, and many more. Here's what selected artists will get:

• Artists will be compensated. This amount will be negotiated at the time of booking.


• Travel and lodging accommodations may be provided based on the artists' needs.


• A sound system will be provided at the festival, but artists must bring their own instruments and any additional equipment.

About the festival:



Jefferson State Music Festival and Hemp Expo 2011, attendance 3,000 per day, is founded on the belief that through awareness, education, and the cooperation and coordination of citizens and public officials, many complex social issues can be mitigated. It aims to host a world class music event that provides outlets for cannabis advocates to educate the public on the many potential benefits of the cannabis plant, including medicinal, industrial, agricultural, economic, environmental, and other applications.
