Summary
SonicJive is excited to offer the first ever SonicJive Song Writing Contest. The contest will provide an opportunity to promote independent music and the launch of their redesigned site at the end of their listing, JiveWired.com.
Must be 18 or over to enter. All works must be original and not infringe on existing copyright. All songs submitted can not have won any previous contest. Entries are not limited to SonicJive members.
Prizes: First prize is $1000.00 plus recognition of the win on the new website (to be launched as JiveWired.com) and a one month full page feature on the sign in/log in page. Winning entry, as well as 20 finalists, will be offered the opportunity to be included on their monthly CD available to VIP members of the new site.
Judging Criteria: The songs, besides being well-written and original, must reflect the passion and spirit of independent music. Songs do not have to be recently written but artists affiliated with one of the four major labels will not be considered. Entries that have formerly won any song writing contest will be immediately disqualified. ALL GENRES are acceptable.
A critique will be provided for all entries. Any questions regarding the contest can be directed to info@sonicjive.com.
