Joe Mommas Pizza in Downtown Tulsa is proud to announce that it will host a Back to School: Battle of the Bands" event on Saturday, August 27th from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. benefiting the Youth Services of Tulsa. The event will feature a competition between 10 local bands with prizes awarded to the top three winners. Prizes include studio time at The Church Studio, local airplay on Z104.5s Homegroan program, and prize packages from surrounding businesses./n/nJoe Mommas Pizza in Downtown Tulsa is proud to announce that it will host a Back to School: Battle of the Bands" event on Saturday, August 27th from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. This event will be benefiting the Youth Services of Tulsa and will feature a competition between local bands with prizes awarded to the top three winners. Selected artists will get 15 minutes of playing time and a backline will be provided for them.
Top three winners will receive:
- Free recording session at The Church Studio
- Airtime on local radio station Z104.5 The Edge's "Homegroan" program
- prize packages from surrounding businesses
