Summary

Located in San Jose, California, JWC Artist Group specializes in personal, business, and project management for recording artists and producers. Other services include legal consultation, contract drafting and reviews, image consulting, press releases, accounting services, music supervision, creative coaching, life coaching, and licensing work. We actively seek deals and song placements for all of our artists.

Our main focus is to help our artists use their talents and resources to reach their goals—and beyond. For this reason, we create a unique, very personal plan based on each artist's goals, dreams, and plans for their career. This starts with your dream. What's your dream?

Once you know what your dream is, we'll help you get there—and then some!

Recently we've helped two of our artists make their records with a multi-platinum record producer. We've arranged international and domestic tours for signed and unsigned clients. One artist has had music placed on an NBC/Universal television show, another had music placed on two prime time US television shows. Two artists got signed to a music licensing agent this year. We launched an international PR campaign for an artist, resulting in a prime interview with photo in both EQ and Mix Magazine. We constantly find new ways to expose our artists on vlogs, podcasts, and internet radio.

We're looking for successful artists in the style of alternative pop. We want something really different and special, yet still with poppy songs. Please keep in mind we only consider artists that are already playing more than 20 shows per year or earning at least $2000 per month in music-related income. If you don't meet these criteria, please include a description of why you're the best thing in the world and should be considered anyway!

Your EPK submission should include your three best songs and a short description of your goals as an artist during the next 1 year, 2 years, and 5 years.

Please note:

All artists we sign must be able to provide us a $1000 discretionary expense account. We use this to pay for phone calls, mailings, subscriptions on your behalf, airline tickets and other travel expenses to meetings, and anything else necessary to further your career. If you're not making $2000 per month in music-related income we also require a retainer fee of $400 per month, which pays for a minimum of six hours of our time dedicated to you and your project.
