Don't miss your LAST CHANCE< to submit to the Kansas City Irish Fest, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the culture, music, character and history of Ireland and of the Irish people who call Kansas City home. Attracting around 100,000 festival goers each year, KC Irish Fest is now looking for Celtic and Celtic-Rock oriented bands to play the event. One artist that submits using Sonicbids will be selected to perform. /n/nThe Kansas City Irish Fest is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the culture, music, character and history of Ireland and of the Irish people who call Kansas City home. Attracting around 100,000 festival goers each year, KC Irish Fest is now looking for folk, Celtic and Celtic-Rock oriented bands to play the event. One artist that submits using Sonicbids will be selected to perform.



The festival will pay for an artist's lodging; however, the selected must be able to provide their own transportation. Submitting bands must be traditional Celtic/Irish group or if your band utilizes a fusion of Celtic and rock. There are 34 total performance spots available.

Headliners in 2010 were: Kila, The Elders, Eileen Ivers & Emigrant Soul. While past performers include: Hot House Flowers, The Saw Doctors, Damien Dempsey and more.

It is the mission of the KC Irish Fest to graciously provide our local and regional community with the best, friendliest and most enjoyable weekend in KC under an Irish cultural umbrella by creating and presenting the best blend of music, education and great craic.
