Summary

Located in Doylston, PA, Karen’s Place is a Christian coffee shop featuring live music on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month. Local, regional and touring artists who play all genres of music with an all-ages, Christian-friendly message are encouraged to submit for performance consideration. Artists perform two 30-45 minutes sets beginning at 8:00pm and are provided with a complete, high quality sound system.



Karen's Place has the look and feel of a coffee shop with cafe tables, trees, dim lighting, a triangle shaped stage with stage lighting and a capacity of 100. They sell coffee shop drinks and snacks, and provide a table for artists to sell merchandise. Artists generally are compensated with a free will offering, but traveling artists may be given a small guarantee in addition. There is never a cover.



The venue is much more than a coffee shop or a live music hall. They like to consider themselves a "coffee shop-sanctuary" and a safe place set apart for the refreshing of one's thirsty soul.
