Summary

Keene State College, located in Southwest New Hampshire, focuses primarily on undergraduate education and serves the citizens of New Hampshire and the region as a scholarly community of higher learning.

Keene State College is now booking for their Fall Semester (Sept. - Dec., 2007). They typically book around eight artists per semester.

Keene State is a member of NACA, and both the Student Center and the Social Activities Council are responsible for a large number of programs and events on campus. There are several venues to choose from, ranging in capacity from about 200 people up to 2,000. Held on-campus is a bi-weekly Concert Series that features coffeehouse-style, acoustic, and multicultural artists. The Social Activities Council is also looking for performers for their Welcome Back Weekend, held September 7 – 8, 2007.

Keene State is interested in local and regional performers, or artists already touring through the area and compensation ranges from $500 - $2,000, depending on the event. Keene State College will determine the best venue location for submitting artists.

They are interested in providing a wide variety of types and genres of music on campus. Some of the acts to have graced the stage at KSC in the past include Guster, Jack's Mannequin, Cartel, Meg Allison, State Radio, Augustana, Gym Class Heroes, Emerson Drive, Wyclef Jean, Gavin DeGraw, and Josh Gracin.
