Regular performances are held on the second Saturday of every month, September through June. Periodically, there are special events which may take place at alternate times and locations.

Each month, they present the best in folk and acoustic music. The atmosphere is friendly and warm, with open theater style concert seating. At least 1 artist who submits through Sonicbids will be selected to perform this quarter.

They are committed to presenting music in the best way they can. Great care has been taken to design a sound system that does just that. Their sound engineer, Mark Nesvig, makes sure that each artist is heard the way he or she wants to be heard. Selected artists will be compensated for their performance.

Kennebunk Coffeehouse is a non-profit, completely volunteer-run organization. Through the generosity of the First Parish Unitarian Church, their home has been at the church since the coffeehouse began. In the fall of 1999, Shawn Henderson of Wells, Maine became the volunteer Coffeehouse Director.

All the volunteers work hard to be sure the artists are made to feel welcome and cared for, so they can concentrate on presenting the best show for our remarkably attentive audiences... and that our dedicated, friendly, music-loving audience members are comfortable.
