About the venue:

Kentucky Homefront is a radio show featuring Kentucky's finest acoustic folk, traditional, blues, country, and bluegrass musicians, and its best storytellers. The front porch broadcasts are reminiscent of radio variety programs of a bygone era.

Hosted by John Gage, Kentucky Homefront is recorded on the 2nd Saturday of every month (except January and July). The show is recorded before a live audience at the Clifton Center in the Clifton Neighborhood, in the heart of the vibrant Frankfort Avenue neighborhood, in Louisville, KY.

The front porch is a gathering place for friends and where strangers become friends; a place for sharing and creating traditions.

Kentucky Homefront’s mission is to preserve, promote, and celebrate live grassroots music and storytelling traditions of the rich and diverse cultures of Kentucky and its surrounding states.
