Kidzapalooza 2011

Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit to Kidzapalooza, the concert event of the summer for rock friendly families. The event usually brings in 9,000 attendees per day, at the Kidzapalooza stage alone. Lollapalooza boasts an audience of 90,000 per day. At least one Sonicbids artist is guaranteed a slot to perform. In addition to rockin' exposure and networking capabilities, selected artists will receive two 20-minute performance sets, an all access/backstage pass to Lollapalooza, food during the festival and will be paid a generous stipend./n/nKidzapalooza is the concert event of the summer for rock-friendly families and takes place in association with the annual Lollapalooza festival in Chicago's Grant Park. From getting temporary tatz, a punk rock hair do, jamming out rock band style, learning a new riff and even throwing down a hip hop rhyme, kidz will party down with their parents for an amazing interactive three-day musical experience. Not to mention, the event usually brings in 9,000 attendees per day at the Kidzapalooza stage alone, while Lollapalooza boasts a daily audience of 90,000. At least one Sonicbids artist is guaranteed a slot to perform.

In addition to rockin' exposure and networking capabilities, selected artists will receive two 20-minute performance sets, an all access/backstage pass to Lollapalooza, food during the festival and will be paid a generous "all-in" stipend. No additional travel of expenses will be provided.

Kidzapalooza made its inaugural appearance in 2005 as part of the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago's Grant Park. The festival continues to run concurrent with the Lollapalooza Festival and features family oriented musicians, performers and DJs as well as games, and fun interactive activities including treasure hunts, storytelling, an instrument petting zoo and a group drum circle (and much more!).



In past years, Kidzapalooza has featured children's artists like Ralph's World, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo, Lunch Money, Justin Roberts, and Care Bears on Fire, as well as rock stars such as Perry Farrell, Slash, Ben Harper, Jeff Tweedy, and Jim James.
