2010 Kingdom Bound Talent Competition

Annually the Kingdom Bound festival reaches over 55,000 people. Up to 30 artists will be selected through online voting to participate in a live competition at Kingdom Bound 2010. Selected artists are expected to perform one of the songs submitted using Sonicbids. One overall winner from the Kingdom Bound 2010 Talent Search competition will advance to the national finals in Nashville, Tennessee. The national winner will receive an artist development deal with Word Label Group./n/nKingdom Bound Ministries, founded by Fred Caserta in 1987, continues its missions to present the Gospel through the Performing Arts. Annually the Kingdom Bound festival reaches over 55,000 people from all over the Northeastern US and Southern Ontario with four days of concerts, seminars, sports and children's activities, set at Darien Lake Theme Park Resort. For more than 15 years, the festival has featured a talent competition in various forms.

For the 2010 Kingdom Bound Talent Competition, artists who submit will be entered into a voting application where fans can go and vote their favorites to the top. Practice hard, polish up, and come ready to have a good time, because Kingdom Bound is expecting this year to be its best talent search ever. This year, the 2010 Kingdom Bound Talent Search has been designed to offer artists the opportunity to let the fans decide who they want to see perform on Kingdom Bound’s Talent Search Stage through an Online and Live Talent Search Competition.


Online and Live Talent Search Competition:

Up to 30 artists will be selected through online voting to participate in a live competition at Kingdom Bound 2010, held on the Park Stage. Live competitions will take place on the Park Stage at Kingdom Bound 2010 located in Darien Center, NY (near Buffalo, NY) on August 2nd, 3rd and 4th from approximately 1:00pm – 3:00PM. Selected artists are expected to perform one of the songs submitted using Sonicbids. For those who wish to compete as a band, Kingdom Bound will supply all the necessary back-line gear. Sharing back-line gear is required and makes the transition between contestants go more smoothly.

If you are chosen as a finalist to appear live at the 2010 Kingdom Bound Talent Search, a Kingdom Bound representative will notify you in July. At that time you will be required to send in a competition fee of $50 for solo artists or $100 for bands.

The Overall Winner from the 2010 Kingdom Bound Talent Search advances to the National Finals: One overall winner from the Kingdom Bound 2010 Talent Search competition will advance to the national finals in September in Nashville, Tennessee. There, the Kingdom Bound winner will compete with winners from other Christian Festival Association events from around the country – performing in front of a panel of record label executives and artist-development experts. The national winner will receive an artist development deal with Word Label Group.



All artists submitting for the 2010 Kingdom Bound Talent Search must be Christians in order to participate.
