Summary

King's Playhouse is a quaint, historic theater set in breathtaking Prince Edward Island, Canada. Situated in the small town of Georgetown, the official capital of Kings County, it is surrounded by water, history and the lore of rural PEI.



After many years of being relegated to summer use only, new life has been breathed into the rustic theater which is now running year round. Hosting all kinds of musical and theater performances, the theater welcomes and embraces not only local artists, but Canadian and International entertainers as well. With a diverse population of theater patrons, they try to provide a wide range of performance genres, thus quickly re-establishing themselves as the "Entertainment and Cultural Center of Kings County."


King's Playhouse is now accepting submissions from Sonicbids artists for general performance consideration. Compensation is offered, but is negotiated at the time of booking. With a capacity of nearly 300, this is a great gig to perform for an intimate audience.
