Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit the 2010 Kitchener Ontario Independent Music Festival which will put Kitchener, Ontario back on the map. Over the course of this one day festival over 140 bands, artist and musicians will perform at 10 indoor venues and two outdoor stages all located within downtown Kitchener. The festival is anticipating an attendance of 5000-7000 people. Out of 80 total performance slots, a minimum of 50 Sonicbids artists will be selected for this festival./n/nOn Saturday September 18th, the 2010 Kitchener Ontario Independent Music Festival will put Kitchener, Ontario back on the map. Kitchener Ontario Independent Festival is looking for rock, punk, metal, indie, ska, reggae, pop-rock, hip hop, electronic and acoustic artists to perform. The festival is anticipating an attendance of 5000-7000 people. Bands will not be compensated for the event. Sponsors to date include Steam Whistle Brewery, D-Tox, 91.5 The Beat, ARC Clothing Company, Civilian Printing Company and Downtown Kitchener BIA.
