All submitted music must have top quality production and be ready to be signed up and put against picture.

konsonant/ requires that artists own the rights to their music (copyright, writers, publishing and masters), are signed with their national PRO (ex: BMI, ASCAP and SESAC for the United States) and do not use any uncleared samples in submitted tracks./n/nkonsonant/, a boutique licensing company, is looking for great Punk music (Pop Punk, Ska-Punk, with bands like Greenday, Offspring, Sublime, etc.). They're looking for fun tracks with great performances. All submitted music must have top quality production and be ready to be signed up for immediate licensing opportunities.


konsonant/’s website features their handpicked music library. Everyday, industry professionals from various film and television projects sort through the library to find exactly what they need for their music placements. konsonant/ also actively submits music to various clients and projects on an ongoing basis. As part of the konsonant/ music team, artists can expect to develop a relationship with the staff and actively contribute to creating new avenues for their music.

Selected artists will receive:


  • Artists will receive 50% of the licensing fee for the use of their track by a konsonant/ client.

  • konsonant/ will submit writer and publisher information for cue sheet purposes. This will allow artists and bands to collect performance royalties from their PROs (BMI, ASCAP, etc.), when applicable.

  • Selected music will be placed directly on the konsonant/ website.

  • konsonant/ will actively submit selected artists' music for various Film, TV & Media licensing opportunities.

  • This agreement is solely for Media syncing opportunities [Film/TV etc.), it does not include selected artists' live performances and record sales.

If selected, the artist will be signed as a non-Exclusive/non-Compete konsonant/ artist. This contract allows artists to submit to their own contacts directly while giving konsonant/ the right to be the sole licensing company representing their music. The initial contract term is for three years with the possibility of renewal.

This of course means that songs must be original songs. Artists do not need to submit an instrumental version as well as its corresponding vocal version but will need to supply konsonant/ with an instrumental version, if the vocal track is accepted and signed up.
