konsonant/ is your new best friend in promoting, placing and licensing your music. konsonant/ works internationally with all media from major motion picture companies to indie filmmakers, TV productions and non-profit organizations.


konsonant/ is always looking or fresh new music and would like to hear from you. As part of the konsonant/ music team you can expect to develop a relationship with the staff and actively contribute to creating new avenues for your music. They are especially interested in songs that are catchy yet unique, original and well produced.

Feature Films (The Good Girl, The Tuxedo), TV Shows (Bones, Big Shots, The King of Queens), Documentaries (New Year Baby, The Mummy Who Would Be King, Galapagos), Non-Profit Organizations (The International Rescue Committee, StoryCorps), Commercials (Motorola, MetLife, IFC) and Movie Trailers (Ratatouille).

Konsonant/’s website features their handpicked music library. Everyday, music supervisors from various film and television projects will sort through the library to find exactly what they need for their music placements. Any Sonicbids artist who is asked to be placed on the online library must agree to an exclusive licensing arrangement with Konsonant/. Konsonant/ can offer non-exclusive arrangements, however the corresponding artist cannot be featured on their online library.


Send professional recordings of your best songs (yet). If konsonant/ likes the song, you will be a part of their team. What this means for you…

1. You remain the owner of your music.

2. As a band (or artist), you will receive 50% of the licensing fee for the use of your track by our client.

3. konsonant/ will submit writer and publisher information for cue sheet purposes. This will allow artists and bands to collect performance royalties from their PROs (BMI, ASCAP, etc.), when applicable.

4. konsonant/ requires exclusive representation of your music for licensing purposes for the duration of our agreement. konsonant/ is committed to providing high quality content to their clients, so it is important that our catalog remains fresh and unique. konsonant/ is interested in developing long term working relationships with their artists and bands, helping further creative paths and providing different promotional avenues.
