KoSA Arts Centre - Emerging Artist Series

The KoSA Arts Centre is creating a brand new 'Emerging Artist Series', held on April 30th, 2011. With 4 headliners already confirmed, it is looking for 4-6 emerging, local acts to perform live at the event. With 4 headliners already confirmed, it is looking for 4-6 emerging, local acts to perform live at the event. The event is also a charity event benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.



Here’s what selected artists get:

• Artists will primarily be performing for exposure, but depending on the artist, compensation can be negotiated.


• Artists can sell their merchandise and keep 100% of the profits.
• A 30 minute set.


• A sound and lighting system and a sound engineer will be provided at the venue, but artists are responsible for bringing their own instruments and any additional equipment.

About the venue:


The KoSA Arts Centre presents regular concerts and seminars throughout the year. The Centre will soon be launching its new Arts Series, which will include music from all genres, theatre and dance. The Centre welcomes internationally renowned musician and singer, Jeri Brown, who recently accepted the position as the Centre's Events & Programs Director and Artistic Consultant (for more information see the "KoSA News" page. The purpose of this Centre is to offer Montreal, especially the West End communities (NDG, Westmount, Côte-des-neiges, etc.) with a much needed, multi-functional complex that supports the performing arts, education and business communities.
