Summary

Executive Producer Max Worthington credits 5 years as understudy Associate Producer and Red Carpet Host with the LA Music Awards for the genesis of the Los Angeles Comedy Awards (LACA). The LACA are Los Angeles’ premier comedy awards showcase, and offers live performances and a plethora of awards and prizes. The showcase series will be held at Suzy’s Bar and Grill in Hermosa Beach, CA.

The Los Angeles Comedy Awards are now accepting submissions from Sonicbids comedians for review and general performance consideration for their monthly showcase. Prizes include a cash award winner, Nomination Certificates, award certificates and the Certified Authentic Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Plaques (to be awarded at a red carpet Hollywood event). The awards will be given based on a panel of judges including publicists, agents, producers, directors, writers and Performers in the entertainment industry. The showcase series is sponsored by Dr. Smile in Lomita, CA.
