Lakeside Festival 2011

The Lakeside Music and Arts Festival, will be held on July 2 and 3, 2011 in beautiful Nelson Park, Decatur, IL. 3 stages will host around 10 artists playing at the festival, for a crowd of over 3000 people. It is looking to book primarily local solo artists, bands and non-musical acts (ie: jugglers) to perform live at the festival. Here’s what selected artists get:

• Artists may be compensated. This amount will be negotiated at the time of booking.


• Artists can sell their merchandise and keep 100% of the profits.


• Lodging can be negotiated


• A sound and lighting system and a sound engineer will be provided at the venue, but artists are responsible for bringing their own instruments and any additional equipment.

About the festival:


The Lakeside Music & Arts Festival takes place in Nelson Park alongside beautiful Lake Decatur on the weekend of July 4th each year. This top shelf undertaking spotlights the best in art, music, theater arts and culinary arts. This year, there will be a beer, wine and food pavilion stage that will feature micro brews and a BBQ festival
