Summary

The Los Angeles Music Awards Artist Showcase Contest will give one artist the opportunity to play at the 16th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards in front of more than 1500 members of the press and music industry contacts. The contest is sponsored by City of Lights Entertainment – and they are the exclusive sponsor of the Los Angeles Music Awards to present this opportunity for independent artists.



The Grand Prize Winner will perform on the main stage during the 16th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards Event to be held on November 9, 2006 in Hollywood, CA. The artist will also be presented with a "Performing Artist of the Year" award. The Winner's performance slot alone is is valued at over $5,000 and they will also get priceless exposure to Hollywood Music & Entertainment Industry in attendance!



Boasting $250 a plate dinner tables, Celebrity Hosts, Ice sculptures, laser lights and event sponsors like The Grammys, Blockbuster, Sam Ash Music, 95.5 KLOS, Music Connection Magazine and Mercora Radio, this year's live televised event is poised to be the best yet!



This showcase contest is open to all independent (not on major label) bands and performing solo artists. All genres are accepted. Past participants include Black Eyed Peas, Alien Ant Farm, Jennifer Paige, Save Ferris, Slash, Paula Abdul, KLOS's Jim Ladd and many more! Submissions will be screened for production, writing and live performance impact.
