LA Music Awards 2008 - Round 4

The LA Music Awards are a different event than the other awards shows out there and offer artists from all over the globe a unique opportunity: Your submission will be considered for 3 separate opportunities: The Los Angeles Music Awards, The Phoenix Music Awards and the Hollywood F.A.M.E. Awards.

LA and Phoenix are the two biggest regions in the western US and combine for a total of over 15 million people to potentially reach and the Hollywood Fame Awards will offer the chance for your music to be heard by Hollywood’s TV/film placement industry.

This year, there will be 100 nominees in 20 categories (5 nominees per category) and the LA Music Awards have selected Sonicbids for artist submissions. In Round 1, 27 artists were selected from as far away as Australia.

Each submission will be carefully evaluated. There will be FOUR separate qualifying rounds, with public placement of new nominee names on all 3 award show websites monthly.

Pop Single of the Year

Adult Contemporary Single of the Year

Triple A Single of the Year

Soul R&B Single of the Year

Dance Single of the Year

Hip Hop Single of the Year

Music Video of the Year

Male Vocal Performance of the Year

Female Vocal Performance of the Year

Rock Record of the Year (Producer)

Rock Album of the Year (Artist)

Country Vocalist of the Year: Male or Female

Pop Vocalist of the Year: Male or Female

Band My Space Website of the Year

Musical Group of the Year

Instrumental Artist of the Year

There will also be a separate "Producers Choice" category for nominees who submit exemplary work for consideration of nomination. The Producers Choice sub categories are:


Guitarist of the Year

Bassist

Drummer

Keyboardist

Recording Engineer

Live Performance

CD Package design

Jazz Artist

Musical Group

The artists who are chosen as nominees in the independent categories will get to network not only with music industry achievers, but with top-level people from the motion picture industry as well. With three different entertainment awards shows represented here, your chances of winning a nomination are that much better.

Please note: The 2008 LA Music Awards and Showcase Series is back in the hands of its original founder and will continue on with the traditions established when it was founded in 1991. That means that the interests of artists and their creative work come first and that community service to the grassroots creative community shall continue to be the mantra of this organization.
