FEST: Lancaster Music Festival 2019

Lancaster Music Festival is looking for 3 or more Sonicbids artists to play 3 to 5 shows each at the 2019 Lancaster Music Festival in Lancaster, UK which will take place between Thurs Oct 10th & Mon Oct 14th 2019. 

The festival is an award-winning celebration of Lancaster's great musical talent and diversity while also inviting national and international acts to help provide a wide variety of world-class music covering all genres. Over the last nine festivals, LMF has booked over 40 Sonicbids artists of which 37 were international.

An award-winning music festival, largely free to attend, set in the center of the musical and historic City of Lancaster featuring over 500 performance from 300 acts at over 40 venues and locations. Past festivals have had more than 75,000 attendees! In 2019 we'll again be looking for at least 3 Sonicbids acts to perform at least 3 shows each during the festival, including one show on the festival main stage at Lancaster Castle. The other participating venues range from cafes and coffee shops to pubs, bars, and halls with capacities ranging from 80 to 500 approximately.

• The act must be able to cover travel costs to Lancaster, UK
• All members of the act must be 18+ at the time of the festival
• We cannot book additional shows for your act outside of the festival so please don't ask* (see Special/Additional Terms below)
• The festival is primarily interested in artists performing original music. All genres of music will be considered. Artists performing to backing tracks will not be considered.

• 1 x 45-minute slot at Lancaster Castle mainstage; 2 x 45-minute sets at other venues. 3-5 shows offered in total
• Backline provided: drum kit (no cymbals), 2 guitar amps & bass amp. Sound equipment provided as required*
• Castle main stage performance compensation is £150 GBP
• Compensation at other venues is typically between £80+GBP (soloists) and £200+GBP (bands) per show w/each show comprising no more than 2 x 45-min set

• Artists keep 80% of merch sales at festival-manned merch stall in Lancaster Castle & keep 100% of their merch sales at other venues
