The festival is a celebration of Lancaster’s great musical talent and diversity while also featuring national and international acts./n/nCME Artist Services is looking for at least 10 Sonicbids artists to play the Lancaster Music Festival in Lancaster, UK October 9-11, 2009. The festival is a celebration of Lancaster’s great musical talent and diversity while also inviting national and international acts to help provide a wide variety of superb music including, but not limited to, jazz, blues, world, folk, indie, punk, rock, pop and more.



Selected artists will be compensated for their performance – compensation is based on the venue (whether ticketed or flat guarantee) and the size of the act but will typically be between £50GBP and £200GBP. All genres are accepted.



The Lancaster Music Festival started last year as part of the One Planet Festival and with an attendance of more than 2,000 people, was so successful it was decided that a larger event would be planned for 2009. The event will be located at 15 existing music venues in the city of Lancaster. Lancaster is to the Northwest of the UK what Austin is to the Southwest of the USA. Hundreds of bands are based here representing all genres in a city that boasts over 30 live music venues. The festival will feature over 30 artists. Sponsors include the City of Lancaster, One Planet Festival, all the participating venues, CME Artist Services, Lancaster Brewery.



CME Artist Services has been running tours, exchanges, and events without interruption since 2001, mainly focused in the UK.
