Summary
Hello Sonicbids artists, Langley Summer Festival Series is Langleys premier summer music series that features the brightest local, regional and nationally touring talent. Taking place in an outdoor venue adjacent to the Langley Event Centre in July and August 2020. Just 35 minutes from Vancouver, our summer festival series attracts people from all over the Pacific Northwest.
The Opportunity
Langley Summer Festival Series has been committed to presenting, nurturing and celebrating Canadian artists. Both emerging and established artists will be considered for the fest with a focus on emerging local and regional artists.
Our goal is to ensure we create a safe space for all musicians, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, culture, etc. This is an opportunity of a lifetime to apply at one of the coolest festivals in the BC and expand your fanbase.
The Band
- We're looking for Jazz, Soul, Blues, R&B, Hip-Hop, Acoustic, Funk, Folk, Jazz fusion, and just about anything in between. Looking for local, regional and international acts.
- Acts must have extensive live stage experience
- Acts must promote the festival
- Acts must have a solid online presence
- Acts can sell their merch on-site
The Gig
- Pay is determined upon booking
- PA provided
- Basic backline provided
- Professional sound tech provided
- There are multiple dates available throughout the summer
Compensation
- Compensation Amount: Determined at time of booking
