A minimum of 10 slots are reserved for Sonicbids members.

Compensation will be provided in the form of free tickets, coupons for food & drink at the festival and gifts from sponsors. Musicians will also be given a space to sell their CDs and merchandise.

Also included will be poets and spoken word artists, comedians, an art show and auction, indie films, as well as vendor and exhibitor booths, children's activities, workshops, vegan and organic food vendors, healing arts, pet adoptions and more. Proceeds of this year’s festival will benefit animal rescue organizations.

Following up on the success of the Females on Fire CD and Tour, Females On Fire, The Los Angeles Women's Music Festival will continue to pursue the “Females on Fire” mission of promoting talented female artists from around the world, delivering songs in a tapestry of different genres & styles of music. They will continue to provide a dedicated message empowering femininity, human equality, love, communication and vitality.

The Los Angeles Women’s Music Festival and related events create a supportive community for female artists in Los Angeles, with opportunities to perform, collaborate, and connect. In addition to the vitalizing effect that women's music festivals have on the women's music scene, the LA Women's Music Festival provides unparalleled exposure for unsigned and independent female artists by offering them performance opportunities in the epicenter of the music industry.

The Los Angeles Women's Music Festival (LAWMF) is produced by Gaia Rocks founders: British singer-songwriter Gayle Day and Boston singer-songwriter Miria; and by Australian recording artist/songwriter & producer Gilli Moon (Warrior Girl Music/Songsalive!) and Phoenix native A&R/promotions executive Toni Koch (Warrior Girl Music/Songsalive!).
