PLAY: Left Bank Showcases (NY)

Left Bank is a Brooklyn-based magazine that curates a series of monthly showcases throughout the year. The shows normally take place at Muchmore's in Brooklyn, and we enjoy shoegaze, post-punk, indie rock, but we're open to a wide range of other genres. 

We're looking ahead to accept applications for the late  fall/early winter months. We're looking ahead to the later months of 2020 due to social distancing practices currently in place. 

Left Bank is a Global magazine that takes inspiration from the literary and artistic haven of the Left Bank in Paris. We put out print zines sold in bookstores from NYC to Melbourne and curate the hottest live music showcases in NYC. This is an amazing opportunity to get featured in the magazine as well as play the live showcases that take place at Muchmore's in Williamsburg once shows are  This is a great way to grow your fanbase around the world and create relationships with other great international bands. 

• We're in constant search of bands that are breaking down musical boundaries and finding unique ways to create fresh new music. We're looking for Shoegaze, Post-Punk, Indie Rock, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Metal, Spoken Word, Alternative, Folk and Psychedelic acts
• Bands must have Live stage experience
• Bands must have a solid online presence
• Bands must have a solid socially media following

• Pay is determined upon booking
• Show dates TBD
• Showcases take place at Muchmore and other venues throughout Brooklyn
• PA provided
• Basic backline provided
• Bands can sell their merch on-site
