LifeLight: Christian Festival Association Talent Search 2010

The deadline is approaching to submit to the LifeLight Music Festival which is again participating in the nationwide Christian Festivals Association Talent Search, presented by Word Records. Finalists chosen through online voting will perform at the festival. The final LifeLight winner will go on to the national competition in Nashville to compete for a Word Records development contract. LifeLight, the Nation’s Largest Free Christian Festival is again participating in the nationwide Christian Festivals Association Talent Search presented by Word Records. Similar competitions will be taking place at festivals around the country. The top bands chosen through the on-line competition and from a regional live competition at 3 Degrees in Minneapolis, MN will advance to a live competition at the LifeLight 2010 Festival.



Here’s what to do:

• Sign up for the LifeLight on-line talent search here on Sonicbids


• Get your fans to vote


• All on-line entries will be considered for a slot on a LifeLight stage. One band will be chosen by LifeLight staff from the top 10 vote-getting bands.

Direct your fans to lifelight.org and click on the VOTE button on the festival page
• Be ready to compete at LifeLight Festival for the chance to advance to the Christian Festivals Association Word Label Talent Search competition in Nashville, Tennessee


• All on-line entries will be judged by LifeLight and 3 Degrees staff




All music genres are accepted, the competition may occur on various stages throughout the festival grounds.
The winner of “The LifeLight Talent Search” will have the opportunity to compete In Nashville, TN against the other participating festival winners for a Word Record label development contract.



All artists participating in the live festival competition will be allowed to sell their merchandise the day of show with no merchandise fees owed to LifeLight. The bands must provide their own volunteers to work their merchandise table.
For 2010, LifeLight has reduced its on-line competition fees from $50 to $40. There will be an additional fee to perform at 3 Degrees in the live competition.




Bands must have a positive Christian message. All Genres accepted.
