The Lily Pad (May-Aug '11)

Lilypad, located in Cambridge, MA, is the best listening room around Boston. Real instruments, really interesting music, art, theater, you name it. It is looking to book local, regional, and touring artists and bands to perform live on Friday nights. Lilypad welcomes jazz, folk, rock, singer/songwriter, classical, Americana, avant garde, and does not book genres whose listeners would often need earplugs. Here’s what selected artists get:

• Artists will be compensated. This amount will be negotiated at the time of booking.


• Artists can sell merchandise and keep the proceeds.


• A 7' grand piano, drum kit, bass amp, guitar amp, and PA will be provided as needed.

About the venue:

Every Friday Lilypad has beer, wine, gumbo and socializing alongside the music. This is a 93 person capacity room.
