Sonicbids Listen Up Volume 3 to benefit Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation and War Child

Each year Sonicbids puts together a promotional compilation CD that is distributed to thousands of promoters; as part of our Holiday package, as well as from Sonicbids booths at music industry events throughout the year including South By Southwest, MIDEM, Popkomm, Folk Alliance, NXNE, NEMO, Atlantis and many more!

Last year, in an effort to raise funds for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, we opened submissions to Listen Up Volume 2 up to our membership with all proceeds going to three charities - The Red Cross, the New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic Emergency Fund and the Music Maker Foundation.

The response was so positive that we’ve decided to open it up to members again this year, and due to the kind support of our partner, Oasis Disc Manufacturing, 100% of your submission fee will go to the following non-profits (split evenly): War Child , and The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation . The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation (MHOF) supports music education and its many benefits through the donation of new and refurbished musical instruments to underserved school and community music programs and individual students nationwide. War Child aims to provide emergency relief and protect children who live in areas of war conflict, as well as address the on-going consequences of conflict on children. Through War Child Music , artists offer their songs to be downloaded by the public and a percentage of each song purchased goes to War Child as a donation.

The CD features 15-18 Sonicbids artists and is a great opportunity to get your music in front of a large group of music industry professionals and, most importantly, a GREAT way to contribute to these fine charities.

A very special thanks goes out to our good friends over at Oasis CD Manufacturing for CD replication! We’re reserving a minimum of one slot on the CD for an Oasis client so, if you’ve done a CD through Oasis be sure to note that during the submission process.

We'd also like to thank our friends over at Promolocker . They are providing us with USB Flash Drives that we will load with the selected tracks as part of the Holiday package.

Please note: Because Sonicbids will not share your personal information with the charities listed above, these organizations are unable to further acknowledge your donation. You will receive an auto-confirmation email from Sonicbids that will serve as the only acknowledgement of your donation. The donation will also appear on your credit card statement as a transaction with Sonicbids Corp.
