Summary

Live at the Gillioz Theatre is a live music TV show taped in front of a live audience in one of the worlds most beautiful theatres. The Gillioz Theatre was originally built in 1926 on Route 66 in the heart of Springfield, Missouri. After several years of physical decline that showed the obvious age of the theater, a group of citizens decided to do something about this once grand palace.

In 2006, the Theatre was reopened to rave reviews and so began its grand climb back into its rightful place as one of the finest small event Theatres in America. In 2007, KY3, the NBC affiliate and also sister station CW in Springfield Missouri, launched the first in a series of concerts designed to continue the strong traditions of the Ozarks music reputation.

There are 3 shows lined up for the summer. The full season beginning in the fall of 2007 will have open spots for at least 2 Sonicbids members.

All episodes will be aired regionally on TV and promoted for cable/syndication placement at a later date. Future bands and musicians will be announced soon. KY3 and McKinney Productions will also provide DVD's of all live performances to the artists for the bands use.

Artists must have an established track record and successful completion and distribution of at least one album. Also, artists with videos and strong performances will be considered more highly. There are 3 TV stations in Springfield that are promoting these events.

Please note: Sound production is provided and compensation for all acts will be included in the contract. Compensation will depend on the act and potential draw combined with overall experience.
