By performing at the “LIVE” from Groovebox Studios Sessions, artists will receive:


  • An EP of the live performance at the studio, and all of the tracks professionally mixed and mastered on a CD

  • A featured profile page showcasing the selected band and its music on “It All Starts Underground”, a new blog-style independent music web-site that focuses on the Detroit Music Scene

  • Band photos at The Russell Industrial Center, home of “Live” from Groovebox Studio for artists' Underground Profile Page

  • 2-5 Songs recorded live in Groovebox Studios will stream on its page and be available for download. The selected artist/band's page will live in archive on the Groovebox site, and artists can send news and show advertisements which will be posted on the site

  • An optional web Video of the live performance, which can be posted on the site

Live from Groovebox studios is a showcase of live recordings, with no retracking, overdubbing, and no extensive vocal processing. All bands plug in and play try to any other live performance.
