With the rapid and continued rise of podcasting the world over, we have seen the birth of home-based DJs who like talented musicians, love and share the same vision: great new independent music outside of the commercial demands of traditional music. LiveInTheLounge creates the platform for just that vision.
The brainchild of international recording artist Mike Curly, LiveInTheLounge is a radio-style, ground breaking 45-minute acoustic-sessions show podcasted ever Friday night live on iTunes. Put on by songwriters for songwriters, it is the very first of its kind. This is an excellent opportunity for up and coming artists, as well as established acts, to reach a worldwide audience. With approximately 50,000 weekly listeners and growing, people can tune in live on itunes, or hear the show through syndicated programming in the U.S., U.K., and Canada.
Selected artists are required perform a live, 45-minute show in the intimacy of their own living room, inviting the listener to hear them LiveInTheLounge.
