In accordance with NC Law, membership is required to attend shows at Local 506. Local 506 operates as a private club in order to serve liquor in addition to beer. Memberships are $3 and available at the door on the night you plan to attend. All Local 506 members are now required to present their Membership Cards at the time of entry to the club. A misplaced card will result in a $1 charge to replace. Local 506 is aptly named as it reflects local flavor and flare as well as anywhere else in the Triangle. The crowd is mixed and the music usually is too, but nothing beats this club when the genres of choice bounce around its two dark, often smoky rooms.
