Local Music Revolution Festival 2011

Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit to the 3rd annual Local Music Revolution Festival, an annual local music festival and industry seminar presented by RPG Entertainment in Chicago, IL. Taking place August 11-14 at the Metro, the event will feature 20+ bands performing.

At least 3 Sonicbids will be selected to perform at the festival and each band will be compensated a negotiable amount.

Registration/entry to the entire festival and industry seminar is provided to all selected artists./n/nThe 3rd annual Local Music Revolution Festival is an annual local music festival and industry seminar presented by RPG Entertainment in Chicago, IL. Taking place August 11-14, 2011 at the Metro, the event will feature 20+ bands performing. At least 3 Sonicbids will be selected to perform at the festival and each band will be compensated a negotiable amount. Registration/entry to the entire festival and industry seminar is provided to all selected artists.

Submissions are open to Chicagoland area artists with a draw of at least 50 people in the area. Selected artists can optionally choose to be included in a Local Music Revolution compilation CD. There is a fee of $150 per track for inclusion, but artists do not have to participate in the CD to perform at the event.

This event is and always will be completely about nurturing the local music community in Chicago. The festival has included showcases by artists such as local headliners Lucky Boys Confusion and Gold Motel. The festival also includes an industry seminar with music business panels. Past years have taken place at The Cornerstone Ballroom and The Congress Theater. Past Sponsors have included Rock Razor Scissors Salon, Gravity Studios, The Gunz Show, and New Trigger Media.
