Summary

Loco Fest: Locobazooka! 2007. Bands, be a part of rock history. Locobazooka is now in its 16th year and is one of the biggest rock showcase and festivals on the planet that’s held every September. This year, Locobazooka is proud to welcome legends of the stage. Heavy metal gods Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Vinny Appice of Black Sabbath have reunited for the first time in 15 years as Heaven and Hell are coming to Locobazooka! 2007 with fellow rock idols Alice Cooper and Queensryche.

Past local and regional unsigned acts have performed on the same stage on the same day with acts like Alice In Chains, Buckcherry, Godsmack, Staind, System Of A Down, Slipknot, Primus, Faith No More, Dropkick Murphys, Disturbed, and Damage Plan! If you are ready to seriously take your music career to the next level, Locobazooka is the place to get noticed.

There are many advantages to sending your band's submission in early before the crowd, such as more promotion time, longer presence on www.locobazooka.com, and if your band is selected to play and signs onto the festival by January 1, 2007, we will refund you submission fee in full so your submission will be free!

Take advantage of this rare opportunity today! While other bands are still playing in their garages, you could be playing at a huge music festival, in front of thousands of fans with some of the biggest names in rock.

But don't just take our word for it. Here's what some of the Sonicbids bands that played Locobazooka! 2006 had to say:

Playing Locobazooka helped Uplift secure major endorsement deals, not to mention all the new fans we have!! If you are serious about your career, this is one show you must be a part of.

- Jason Arigoni, Uplift

“In a haze of dust and beer cans it was the best party of the summer.”

- Greg, Y69

“We had an awesome time! Everyone was great; all the bands were great! I think it ran very smoothly, to have so damn much going on in one day! All I can say is WOW! You guys at 3D F***IN’ ROCK!”

- Chris Blevins, The Out-Siders

“Just wanted to say thank you for giving us the shot. We had such an amazing time, we met a lot of great bands and good people, we got a tremendous feedback from people and it keeps coming in everyday. We’re already networking with a lot of bands that played so we’ll stay in touch with them and gig swap in the North East all year and out in LA in January. Getting to meet Wicked Wisdom was great too. They were good enough to come out and catch our set at the faster stage and have been a lot of fun to hang out with.”

- Andy, Cerebral

“We had an amazing experience at Locobazooka!. Thanks you for taking an interest in our band and giving us the opportunity to play. The response has been overwhelming! We had over 100 hits on our myspace page on Monday and Tuesday and today was over 50 last time I checked. Tons of messages and comments from kids from Worcester and other surrounding areas loving our CD and asking for us to come play up there again. But thanks to everyone involved…we got a lot out of the panel meeting as well. Anyway, we will be playing in the Boston area to keep this buzz going! Can’t say thanks enough!”

- Bryan, SPLITSENSE

“The festival was one of the greatest experiences of our lives!! We gained so many new fans that have contacted us through myspace. We actually now have a pretty nice sized fan base in the Boston/Mansfield/Worcester areas. We will definitely be re-applying for next year’s festival. Thanks for the great opportunity!”

- Rob, Faith In Exile

“My experience was nothing but the share bliss … Every band we spoke to were nothing but professional and treated us both as equals … though we are only kids. Being on the Main Stage, minus breaking a string during the first song, totally kicked butt. I personally can’t thank Locobazooka enough for the opportunity they gave us. It was by far the best 15 minutes ever …”

- Patrick, Thout

“Locobazooka was awesome for us, we made a lot of new fans. Thanks a million again for putting us on the Atreyu pre-party as well, that was totally kick ass! Everything sounded like a million bucks on the Loco stage. Great crew, great sound, and everything seemed to be extremely well organized, so props to you guys for making it all flow smooth.”

- Kyle, Lead Vocals/Keyboards, Shattersphere

“The festival was great! We had a very good time and made lots of new friends and sold lots of CDs and stuff.”

- Kenio, Seis Pistos

“We had a great time at the festival. The stage set up was great. The sound crew and stage crew were awesome. The security personal were cool to us all day. The complimentary beverages were great. The morning industry meeting was a nice touch…. We made some cool connections with other bands, which was very nice. But we definitely had a great time and would absolutely want to play it again.”

- Jeff, NONE MORE EVIL

“My Alibi also wants to thank you for giving us such a nice opportunity to bring our talents to the east coast. We were warmly welcomed by the Locobazooka goers and hope that we are kept in mind next year as we develop our sound, hopefully for more events as fun and exciting.”

- Jennifer, My Alibi
