Loco Fest South 2009

LOCOFEST is an opportunity that gives unsigned/independent bands a unique chance to perform at a major festival and share the spotlight with some of the biggest acts in rock. Loco has been rocking for 17 years, and has helped the careers of many artists excel to the next level. This year’s LOCOFEST will be held on March 14, 2009 at the Palm Beach International Raceway. Past Loco headliners include Heaven and Hell, Alice Cooper, Queensryche, Shadows Fall, Alice In Chains, Buckcherry, Godsmack, Staind, System Of A Down, Slipknot, Primus, Faith No More, Dropkick Murphys, Disturbed, and Damage Plan.

UPDATE: New headliners added: Mudvayne, Nonpoint, In This Moment, and EOTO. Also, overnight camping will be offered for the first time at Loco for bands and fans.

There are many advantages to sending your band's submission in early before the crowd, such as more promotion time, longer presence on www.locobazooka.com and in ads and promotional materials. This year’s acts will be promoted on the festival website and MySpace sites, and listed on a ka-zillion flyers and posters that will be distributed throughout Miami, Palm Beach and the entire area of South Florida. LOCOFEST offers undiscovered bands the chance to take advantage of the opportunities that playing a huge widely promoted and advertised festival offers. Take advantage of this rare opportunity today! Please note: Bands who are qualified and chosen to play LOCOFEST will be offered a promotional band sponsor package that will entitle them to huge exposure and benefits. 1 of the following 3 promotional packages will be available to purchase on a first come first serve basis as all of these packages sell out for each festival. These packages will be negotiable between the artist and promoter:

$5,000 “Maximum Career Impact”: LOCOFEST will provide your band with a promotional package that allows you to make your investment back and a nice profit as well. For your $5,000 investment, LOCOFEST will give you $6,000 worth of tickets to the festival to sell to your fans. This enables you to make your original $5,000 back AND make $1,000 profit.



$3,000 Career Catapult”: Package includes all the promotional bells and whistles that the Maximum Career Impact package offers without the opportunity of having tickets to sell. For these bands, LOCOFEST is exactly the kind of gig that will give them the Southern USA exposure they've been seeking, but their fan base isn't strong enough in the area to tak e advantage of the Maximum Career Impact package. LOCOFEST will also add in some artist career consulting that we provide at no extra cost.

$1000: The “LOCO-Network package” includes promotion on the LOCOFEST website, inclusion in an email blast and advertisement that you are playing the club showcase section of the festival.
