Summary

Longwood University is a small, private college enrolling roughly 4,500 students located in Farmville, VA. A member of NACA, they are currently accepting submissions from bands, comedians, and novelty acts for the 2008/2009 school year and are primarily interested in local and regional acts. Typically, artists are booked one semester in advance.



Most performances take place on Fridays and Saturdays in the Lancer Café, a 100 person capacity venue with a coffeehouse feel. The Lance Café offers a 15’x15’ stage and basic PA system. In regards to music, Longwood University is interested in smaller groups of 3 people or less performing original rock, world, R&B, hip hop, country and more.



Selected artists will be compensated for their performances with a negotiable fee inclusive of travel/lodging. In general, up to 25 artists are booked per semester.
