DecentXposure Lucky 13 Contest

DecentXposure (DX) is a full service music company dedicated to promoting the music of emerging artists through compilation CDs, ringtones, downloads and the online destination www.DecentX.com.



We’re now gearing up to produce DX #7, the Back to School edition of our emerging artist compilation series. With artists like O.A.R., Marc Broussard, The John Butler Trio, Michael Tolcher, The Clarks, Ingram Hill, Zox, Toby Lightman, Ari Hest and many more having been a part of the DX compilation series, it’s a proven way to help reach more fans and jump start your career.



Here’s a unique way for you to become a part of DX #7 – the DX Lucky 13 contest. Through Sonicbids, we’re accepting submissions to secure a slot on the special back-to-school release.



The DX A&R staff will review all submissions and select three semi-finalists. We will then produce one polyphonic ringtone and one real tone ringtone for each of the semi-finalists. The artists will be featured on the DecentX.com homepage and will go head to head in a ringtone/download battle. The artist that moves the most tones and downloads will be the winner of the Lucky 13 slot on the DX #7.



The artist selected as the Lucky 13 winner will receive 1,000 CDs to be used for promotion, an interview and feature on the DecentX.com homepage and a slot on the bill at the DX #7 release party at a live music venue in New York City (travel expenses not included.)



Submissions are open to a variety of genres including Rock, Alt. Rock, Acoustic Rock, Pop and Hip Hop.
