The club has been host to numerous successful and well known reggae and world music artists, proudly accommodating musicians from around the world. The venue generally books one to two months in advance. Set lengths should be at least 30 minutes to an hour. Full PA system provided and backline available. Past performers include The Mighty Diamonds, Eek A mouse, Sister Carol, Pato Banton, The Meditations, The Skatalites, The Iytals, Jah Roots, Groundnation, Panteon Rococo, and many more.



For over 19 years, the Flamingo Cantina has been known as the people’s favorite venue in Austin, Texas to “good vibes music” - live reggae, ska, Latin and worldbeat music, as well as rock, hip hop, alternative and more. From the sounds of Afro-Cuban artist Ricardo Lemvo, to the amazing dancing and singing of the Mahotella Queens, to the Rastafarian reggae rhythms performed by Burning Spear and other artists, the shows as well as the artists at Flamingo Cantina are legendary. The shows the Flamingo Cantina are unlike any other; the artists themselves keep returning to get more of that “vibe” of the people and the place.
