Luv Grooves

Luv Grooves is the only entirely bilingual publication in Japan aimed at showcasing aspiring R&B, Hip Hop, and Gospel artists from around the globe. Luv Grooves has a circulation that averages 20,000 copies per monthly issue in Japan. They are distributed via clubs, urban fashion retail chains, record stores, bars, restaurants, and numerous internet cafes throughout Japan. In addition, they are also distributed in London, Australia, Singapore, and Shanghai.



The magazine itself is unconventional in every sense of the word, from its appearance to its goals. The focus of the publication is to place an emphasis on unsigned and independent R&B, Hip Hop, Holy Hip Hop, and Gospel artists in efforts to assist them in building and solidifying a Japanese fan base. They expose their readers to positive and talented artist, and try not to further spread the negativity that we see all too often from rappers today.



Luv Grooves is now accepting submissions from Sonicbids artists for general feature and review consideration. To assist artists with the many difficulties that come from international exposure, they offer services that completely eliminate any hassles associated with the language barrier. In addition to your review or feature, all selected artists receive a bilingual artist page on the website and showcase in the magazine. The promoter has also offered to provide any translation for correspondence that artists receive from Japan.
