Big Top Music Presents The Empty Vessel Christian Music Conference To Benefit “The Foreign Soil Project”

The Empty Vessel Christian Music Conference is coming October 21-23, 2005 to Rock Hill, SC, 10 minutes south of Charlotte. The PointE, a Christian Youth Venue, has been selected to host this event. Proceeds from this conference will benefit The Foreign Soil Project of Empty Vessel Music Ministries. The Foreign Soil Project is a series of CDs containing various styles of Christian and Gospel music that Empty Vessel is sending to the troops overseas. Big Top Music is proud to be a partner in this project.

The goal of The Empty Vessel Christian Music Conference is to exhibit 50 or more of the top independent Christian Artists available today. We will give 20 of them the opportunity to showcase the talents God has given them to industry leaders, event planners, church leaders and the Christian community.

The idea is to provide education, information, resources and opportunity. Music is one of the most powerful tools we have in reaching the lost. Sponsors, labels and other related organizations will have the opportunity to exhibit their products and services.

Confirmed speakers include: Greg Seneff, former legal counsel to the GMA, Whitaker Entertainment recording artists The Steve Deal Band, Gerry Van Mansfeld, Director of Empty Vessel Music Ministries, Caleb Morgan, Artist Manager for Small Town Poets and others, Scott Ballauf, Hip Hop and Street Ministry Director at EV, Joey Stuckey, A blind singer/songwriter, producer, etc., David Gordan, Lead Producer at EV and more. The first ten artists selected to showcase are: Alter’d-LA, The Psalmist-NY, Partners-N-Praise-MI, RICON-NC, GOD’S FAM-NC, Warrior Poets-CT, Zion-GA, The Methods-TX, Eric Rafoth-MD, Jim Black-FL. Showcases will take place on Friday and Saturday nights.

Thank you to all of our sponsors who are making this event happen: Empty Vessel Music Ministries, The PointE, Word Net, Office Depot, Fender, Behringer, The Shepperd’s Guide, JAMS Music Store, and more to come.

All genres accepted, as long as the artist or group is Christian or Christian-focused.
