PLAY: Mag Mile Showcase in March in Austin (TX)

 Hello Sonicbids artists, Mag Mile is prepping for our 5th annual showcase March 10th-16th, 2019 in Austin, Texas.

For 5 years, we have been curating and promoting events for multiple venues in downtown Austin. We work with bar owners and managers to book hundreds of artists from across the world to showcase their amazing talent to the vibrant Austin music scene.

Our shows are open to the public, and no badge or wristband is necessary to attend. We're hosting 4 events this year and we're currently looking to book Sonicbids artists to fill out our roster. If you're a local regional or nationally touring artists, this is your chance to apply to one of Austin's most celebrated showcases. 

Mag Mile is currently accepting submissions to play one of our 4 different showcases on 6th and Rainey Street from March 10th through March 16th.
Our past showcases include All Texas Y'all, Rooftop Raucous, SXBig Bang, and Rock the Rooftop. We're excited to see what new emerging bands are out there, and can't wait to see y'all soon! If you're looking to expand your fan base and show Austin your sound, this is definitely the showcase for you this upcoming March!

We're looking for bands that play original music. We're seeking Rock, Alternative, Indie, Electronic, Pop, Hip-Hop, Punk, Country, Jazz, Soul and Blues acts. We're open to other genres if it fits the direction of our showcases.   

Bands must be actively playing shows

Bands must not have any shows 2-3 weeks book before or after the gig in Austin

Bands must be willing to heavily promote the showcase if chosen to play

Bands are able to sell merch on-site

All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase

Pay is determined upon booking

PA provided

Basic backline provided 

Capacity 2500 - 5000+

Bands get food and drinks tickets

All acts get full backstage access

Set times are determined on the fan base, lesser known acts typically play earlier sets
