Main Street Music Fest 2012

The Main Street Music Fest is looking to select up to 40 Sonicbids artists to perform on Saturday September 29th. Performances will take place at 5 Venues and 2 outdoor stages in the Downtown Historic District of Ellicott City, Maryland. The festival is an all-day event that will not only showcase the best in unsigned local music talent, but will also provide a wide array of activities for all ages. It's partnership with the ECBA's Fall Arts Festival includes a beer garden sponsored by Heavy Seas Brewing Company, shopping, kids area, great food, and more!

Accepted Genres include: Rock, Pop, Alternative, Singer/Songwriter, Jam Band, Blues, Indie, Acoustic, DJ, Reggae, Classic Rock.

There is no compensation through the event other than exposure and the opportunity to perform for the 2,500 expected attendees. Any need for traveling/lodging expenses shall be covered at the artist's expense.

Motivated by the desire to support and promote local unsigned musicians in the Patapsco Valley and Greater Baltimore areas, Main Street Music Fest will be coinciding with the Ellicott City Business Association’s 2012 Fall Arts Festival in order to maximize musician exposure. An estimated crowd of 2,500 or more is expected to fill Ellicott City’s Historic Corridor over the course of the day, trickling in and out of music venues and shops. As an added benefit for concert goers, Main Street Music Fest is FREE and open to the public- no cover charge, no red tape, no problem!
