2010 Malibu Unplugged Showcase & Award

Winners from Malibu Unplugged will perform alongside some of the hottest names in the industry. You know you got the talent! So come audition and compete for cash prizes, trophies and more at the first annual MALIBU UNPLUGGED event, taking place in the afternoon before the Malibu Music Awards on September 25th. Winners will be judged by a panel of celebrity judges and will be honored that evening at the Malibu Music Awards.



At least 8 Sonicbids artists will be selected to play the event, and at least one selected artist will receive $250 cash in addition to a Malibu Music Award. Malibu Unplugged is an integral part of the Malibu Music Awards.



The Malibu Music Awards event is now in its 3rd year. Past honorees include Pat Benatar, Tom Petty, Colby Callait, Kenny G, Grace Slick, Marco Beltrami, Johnny Mandel, Mort Lindsey and many others. The Malibu Music Awards also sponsors an international song competition at sonicbids.com/MalibuMusicAwards2010 and these winners will also perform at the awards show.
