Summary

Mallet’s Place TV is a television show supporting the mission of “Keeping real music alive” being broadcast from Staten Island, NY. The show is interested in interviewing and featuring major recording-artists and serious up and coming instrumentalists who have released CD's, DVD's and are touring. The program's target audience is youth, ages 7-48, and reaches up to 950,000 viewers. Mallet’s Place TV is cultural and educational entertainment at it's finest. The show is taped once a month, and the program repeats at lease three times on CTV's local access channels 34-35 located in Staten Island, NY & Los Angeles, CA. On Channel 98.



In general, guests are from the “old school” world of two genres: Jazz (including Swing, Be Bop, and contemporary) and rhythm and blues. Children's music, gospel, rock and reggae are also currently being accepted. Performers must be at least 16 years old and provide all necessary equipment for their performance (minus PA system).



Selected artists will be provided with light beverages,(light) food, a place to change clothes and free parking. Optionally, artists that would like a DVD of the program may purchase one for $125. Copies will be mailed three weeks after show taping.
