Utica comes alive with over 15 performances, 3 stages, bead throwing, costumes, dancing, exhibits and live entertainment! Mardi Gras Utica is a one day music and arts event that takes place at the beautiful Uptown Theatre in Utica, NY on Saturday March 5th, 2011. Live bands will perform on 3 stages inside the Uptown Theatre. Bands chosen to perform at Utica Mardi Gras will automatically be a chosen performer at the 2011 Utica Music & Arts Fest. 3 slots have been reserved for Sonicbids artists.

Mardi Gras Utica is a one day music and arts event that takes place at the beautiful Uptown Theatre in Utica, NY on Saturday March 5th, 2011. Live bands will perform on 3 stages inside the Uptown Theatre. It will include music from national, regional and local artists and is an all-ages family event. 3 slots have been reserved for Sonicbids artists.
Bands chosen to perform at Utica Mardi Gras will automatically be a chosen performer at the 2011 Utica Music & Arts Fest. They will also be listed on their artist development program and considered for showcase opportunities and future events in and around the city.
Monetary compensation is possible but by no means guaranteed. Every performing artist gets a complimentary event pass (one per band member) and access to all Mardi Gras Utica Events. Most artists play for exposure and can keep 100% of merchandise sales and tips.
