Summary
Located in the heart of Manhattan's East Village, Mary O's is an Irish known for its overly welcoming atmosphere and incredible Irish fare and entertainment.
Mary O's is looking for 5 artists to play the first Tuesday of every month.
The Opportunity
At Mary O's, Irish accents are ubiquitous at this welcoming pub and restaurant, but it's no cookie-cutter version of the genre. The East Village space is modern and simply designed, the dishes American-style with a modern Irish flavor. There are good fish and chips, burgers, shepherd's pie and bread pudding, all homemade, carefully presented and moderately priced. Owner Mary O'Halloran hails from County Mayo, on Ireland's west coast, and is a constant, motherly presence. The kitchen stays open until one hour before closing.
The Band
Genres include Rock, Irish, indie, Jazz, and are open to other genres.
Local and regional acts are welcome to apply.
Bands must promote the show on social media and draw a crowd.
