Maxwell's Lounge - Oakland, CA

Maxwell's Lounge, a premier music venue in Oakland California, is actively seeking musicians and performance artists for immediate openings for Thursday and Friday nights. Typically, 3-5 artists perform each night, and set lengths are approximately 45 minutes long. Local, regional, national and touring acts are encouraged to submit their EPKs.



This venue will contact artists for booking at least two months prior to the date of the show. There is limited backline at the venue consisting of a sound system with vocal mics, monitors and a sound person. For solo artists, Maxwell’s can provide a house band to facilitate your set. Capacity of this venue is 300.



Selected artists will be compensated for their performances. Guarantees start at $100 and may be negotiated based on draw. A local draw of at least 30 paid guests is necessary to be booked.



Accepted Genres: R&B, pop, cover bands, reggae, funk, neo-soul, jazz and world music. Past performers include: Dwele, Musiq Soulchild, ConFunkshun, Lenny Williams of "Tower of Power", Martin Luther, Mike Phllips, Maya Azecuena, Sakai, Amar Khalil, and many more.
