Summary
The 7th Annual May Madness Music Festival will be held at the Mountain Homeplace Amphitheatre in Paintsville, KY on Friday May 18th RAIN OR SHINE. The festival coordinators are looking to book 2 Sonicbids artists of all genres to perform live at the festival.
Information for artists:
Selected artists will play for exposure, as this is a benefit concert for the Paintsville Independent High School Band music program. All music performed must be family friendly and free of explicit content. Artists may set up a merchandise table throughout the event. A PA and a sound engineer will be provided at the festival. It is recommended that you are somewhat local as you WILL NOT be compensated for fuel.
About the festival:
The concert will begin at 5pm EST and will feature many local and regional bands from KY, WV, VA, and OH. National touring artists will also be selected. The artist line-up will be announced on Friday April 20, 2012. Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $5 and all proceeds will help support the Paintsville Independent High School Band.
The performance line-up and schedule will be announced Friday April 20, and there will also be a drumset and guitar solo competition that is open to all ages. The festival also hosts concessions put on by Mountain Homeplace, as well as food stands and other activities.
