Summary

Middlebury College is a college in Vermont that is a member of NACA and holds 3-5 concerts per month September-May. They book 5 different venues ranging in capacity from 50 to 3,000 people. Full production is provided and compensation may be negotiated./n/nMiddlebury College is a private residential college in central Vermont that is looking for local and touring performers in all genres to come play on campus. A member of NACA, the college holds three to five concerts per month from September through May.

A full PA system is provided at all on-campus venues where artists are booked:


  • The Gamut Room (capacity of 50 people)

  • 51 Main (75-100)

  • The Grille (100-300)

  • McCullough Social Space (400-600 people)

  • Kenyon Arena (up to 3,000 people)

Submitting artists will be considered for spots at all possible campus venues, and the college will ultimately determine which location is the best fit.


Compensation details are negotiable. In the past, Middlebury College has hosted such artists as: Anais Mitchell, Dar Williams, Greg Douglass, Atlantic Crossing, Guster, Dispatch, Pat McGee Band, Wyclef, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, and Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers.



Novelty shows and comedy acts: MCAB is looking for novelty acts and comedians who have experience performing for a college audience. Acts will be compensated and upon negotiation inclusive of lodging and hospitality. Past performers include Capitol Steps, Greg Geraldo, Tom Deluca, Craig Karges, Stevie Starr, and Mike Birbiglia.



There are several additional performance spots on campus, including the college chapel, with a capacity of 750 and several function rooms with capacities of 200 and 300.

The Middlebury College Activities Board is a student-run organization that provides a wide variety of entertainment for Middlebury College. The entertainment is geared towards the whole Middlebury community and falls into a mix of different genres. We are looking for both music and non-music (magicians, comedians, hypnotists, etc.) performers for several different on campus opportunities.
