Xtreme Bean Coffee Shop, located in Tempe, Az., just east of Arizona State University and west of Mesa Community College, is a locally owned and operated business. Xtreme Bean Coffee Shop is presenting its Coffeehouse Entertainment Series to complement its on-going Monday Ragtime Jazz. it is looking for acoustic, singer/songwriters, spoken word, poetry and jazz artists to perform live on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. There are at least 3 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists. It is looking for acoustic, folk, Americana, and piano performers to perform live on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays starting in 2012. They are reserving 2 slots a month for Sonicbids artists

Selected artists receive

• Artists will be compensated $50 per performance


• Artists can sell their merchandise at the venue.


• There is no amplification provided, as the coffee house it most suitable for small, acoustic acts. No drum kits


• There can be no more than 3 members in the band


• All content performed must be free of explicit material, so please no profanity.

Selected artists who are local, regional and touring will play in the 75-100 capacity venue, in front of an audience that attracts 40 -50 people each day. Xtreme Bean Coffee Shop features in-house roasted coffee, assorted food items and teas which are not only good, but nutritious. It is a very casual, laid back, studious atmosphere where one can find an undergrad reading a good book, or a medical student preparing for exams.
